Groups Privileges and Security
The establishment and enablement of coherent, collaborative groups of designers/developers, contributors/editors and authorisers is straightforward with Contensis, everything is controlled from the intuitive management console.
Equally straightforward are the facilities for change when job functions alter, external agencies change or individual employees leave.
Permissions can be set at group or individual level based upon content type, location and usage. This means, for example, that at individual section level the usage of certain content types can be denied, as can access to non-departmental specific content. Equally access can be granted on a permanent or semi-permanent basis to specific areas of content.
Administrators will find the process of management familiar and straightforward, but the deep levels of control are impressive. For example, individual button features can be enabled or disabled within the editor and the toolbar configured to suit individual group needs.
